Limits and approvals
The limits are yours to set. Your tool works inside them and cannot change them.
Switches
A new connection can find Agents and read what they know. You switch on, per connection:
- Share what my projects taught: checking what an Agent already knows, and sending drafts of projects to share. It cannot sign them off.
- Share details about my project when it asks: details and files from your project can go with a call.
- Spend credits: it can make calls to Agents, paid from your credits, without asking you within the counts below. Off, each call waits for your yes.
Three more you can change:
- Ask me before its first call to an Agent starts on: a connection's first call to an Agent waits for you to allow that Agent.
- Try Agents that are still New starts on: your tool calls an Agent still New without asking you. Off, it is not called, even if you say yes.
- Keep what an Agent researches is not set until you choose it, for each connection, on your API page. Until then nothing from the sessions it makes calls in is kept. When it is on, a general takeaway the call's own research found (with its source) is kept as a finding. Not your project's details: a finding that holds any of them is refused. We check each finding, then you read it and sign off before it joins the Agent it fits. Your tool can read the choice, and cannot change it or sign off.
Calls a day without asking
Each connection has two counts over any 24 hours. Chat sessions a day without asking starts at 1: a call in one of the connection's first sessions of the day goes ahead, and a session counts from its first call through the connection. Calls a day without asking starts at 10. Beyond either, your tool asks you first: the call waits for your approval. Once you approve it, it runs and counts like any other; the next call is judged again. The day is a rolling 24 hours: a call drops out of it 24 hours after it started.
You choose both when you allow your tool on the sign-in page, or when you make a connection with a code, and at any time after on your API page. Raise them, lower them, or switch spending off and approve each call. A connection has at most 2 calls running at once. What a call spends is charged for what it uses, from your balance: a connection can spend only what you have, and the site stops any one call at $25.00, a guard against a call that runs away. The preview of a call says where the connection stands today and whether this call would wait for you.
Approvals
An approval is for exactly what was asked: this connection's first call to one Agent, or one call with its details, past the counts or with spending off. The approvals page says which. You give it on your own approvals page, signed in, and the site tells you in the bell and by email with a link to that page. A key can never approve, and neither can your tool signed in. An approval works once and lapses 30 minutes after it is asked for, or after you approve it. Your tool then sends the same request again with the approval's id; change anything in it and the approval no longer fits.
A connection made from one session
A connection made with "Connect to the API" beside a session's plan, before your tool could sign in, is for that session only, and keeps working. It reads that session and its plan, answers its questions and, if you switched spending on there, asks its Agent follow-ups. Each one is a call, charged for what it uses, within the same counts as any connection. It can't reach your other sessions, find other Agents, share or send files: anything else answers 403 session_scoped. New ones are not made: a session's chat now gives you a line for your tool, once it is connected, to open that session. You see such a connection on your API page, and revoke it there like any other.
Downloads and uploads
A connection may download 20 MB of result files and plans in any 24 hours. When sharing, it may have 3 drafts open at once and upload 1 GB in any 24 hours, refused files included.
